This blog highlights one woman‘s lifelong quest to read novels that are important. For a middle aged Scot born in the late 1950s I’d say I am well-read when it comes to fiction. I read across a range of genres, mostly classics, crime, contemporary literary writing, science fiction, and historical novels.  I’m familiar with books about reading novels too, and know about many books I have never read, and genres I have little interest in.

Charles Bukowski Post Office Lesley Thomson Ghost Girl Jane Smiley Some Luck Ian McEwan Children Act Alex Soojung-Kim Pang Distraction Addiction Andy Miller reading dangerously
